Paediatric Epilepsy Training
Developed by the BPNA, Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) is a series of 1 and 2-day courses for paediatricians, medical officers and emergency department professionals that aims to improve the diagnosis of epileptic and non-epileptic events, improve the standard of care, and raise awareness of when to liaise with a paediatric neurologist. In partnership with ILAE, PET courses are running worldwide, including sessions in Spanish and Portuguese.
National Epilepsy Education and Awareness Collaborative (NEEAC) Community of Practice
The NEEAC Community of Practice (COP) is a five-year initiative designed to advance the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine's 2012 report on epilepsy to promote health and understanding of the epilepsies. Central to this vision was engaging the epilepsy community and working together towards common goals through a community of practice.
